From format graph

Save the changes made in Format Graph as a new template:

• Click the drop-down arrow from Save
• Select Save As New Template
• Enter the new template name
• Click OK or ENTER

Creating a new template

1. Open Template Options by doing one of the following:
   • Right on the graph > Manage Templates
   • Go to Graph > Templates > Manage Templates
2. Click New Template
3. Enter the new template name
4. Click OK or ENTER
5. Select the number of series (2-series is selected by default)
6. Format the graph styles for your 2-series, 4-series or 8-series template

The distinction between the templates is based on the titles tab. In the 2-series template, edits can be made to both the titles and secondary titles for the first 2 series. In the 4-series template, edits can be made to the titles for up to 4 series. In the 8-series template, edits can be made to the titles for up to 8 series and the 'Use As Master Title" option is automatically selected.

Apply a template to the current graph

1. Open the Style and Color window by doing one of the following:
   • Right click on the graph > Select Template
   • Go to Graph > Templates > Select Template
2. Select a template from the Template drop-down list
3. Click OK or ENTER

Apply a template to a saved graph

1. Click on Show Folders from the Settings toolbar or the Folders tab at the bottom of the directory to enter Folder Mode and select a saved graph
2. Open the Style and Color window by doing one of the following:
   • Right click on the graph > Select Template
   • Go to Graph > Templates > Select Template
3. Select a template from the Template drop-down list
4. Click OK or ENTER

Apply a template to all graphs within a folder

1. Enter Folder Mode as shown above and select a folder
2. Open the Style and Color window by doing one of the following:
   • Right click on the folder > Select Template
   • Go to Graph > Templates > Select Template
3. Select a template from the Template drop-down list
4. Click OK or ENTER

Make changes to existing templates

1. Open an active graph
2. Open the Template Options window by doing one of the following:
   • Right click on the graph > Manage Templates
   • Go to Graph > Templates > Manage Templates
3. Format the styles for your 2,4 or 8-series graph template

4. Click on the drop-down arrow of save and select one of the following:
   • Apply Format Graph Changes - applies the changes made to the current graph
   • Save Current Template - saves the changes made to the current template
   • Save As New Template ... - saves the changes made to a new template

Clicking Save will also save the changes made to the current template.

To discard any changes made, click cancel .

Delete a template

1. Open an active graph
2. Open the Template Options window by doing one of the following:
   • Right click on the graph > Manage Templates
   • Go to Graph > Templates > Manage Templates
3. Select the graph you wish to delete from the Template drop-down list
4. Click to delete the template
